OBJECT 02 · The Interrupted Hemline

A straight cut skirt drawn as a vertical line, then broken. A side opening interrupts the fall of the hem. A draped sash gathers at the waist and settles the column into stillness. White viscose, dry to the touch, lined for weight.

The band sits low on the hip, below the natural waist. The line runs straight to the hem. A slit opens at the front.

Measure across the hip bone, not at the waist. Model wears size XS.

Low waist is measured at the top edge of the band. The band is gathered and gives. Length is measured from the top edge of the band to the hem at the front.

Machine wash at 30°C. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat. Professional cleaning.
